Valentino Dixon by The Perfect Collection

Born October 20, 1969, Valentino Dixon grew up o n the Eastside of Buffalo, New York. As an only child Valentino was a gifted artist who loved to draw. He attended Buffalo Academy for Visual Performing Arts. At 21 he was arrested for a crime he did not commit and was wrongfully convicted. Sentenced to life in prison, he drew up to ten hours a day, gaining national attention after drawing the Warden’s favorite golf hole, “The twelfth hole of August”. With help of the caring people including a Golf Digest Journalist , the Golf Channel and Georgetown University, Valentino was eventually exonerated in 2018, after twenty-seven years of false imprisonment. As a free man, Valentino continues to draw.
