About
Benito Antonio graduated from the Mercy Jaquez Higher Technical Institute in 2004, where he is currently a professor of design, fashion illustration, and haute couture. He also studied fashion at Altos de Chavón. In 2009, he participated in the Dominican Republic Fashion Week where he presented his collection “Homenaje a las Modelos Dominicanas” (which means “Homage to Dominican Models” in English) and “Glamour de Colores” (which means “Glamour of Colors” in English).
In February 2021, he won the award for best collection at the Arte y Moda Internacional Fashion Show held in Uruguay, where he competed against 17 other designers.
In September 2022, his designs were recognized in an international beauty contest in Costa Rica, where he won the awards for Best Haute Couture Dress and Best Fantasy Dress.
