Meet Soraya
Designer and Owner behind La Costa Organic Jewelry
As a graduate from George Washington University in Computer and Information Systems with a minor in Mathematics, Soraya started her professional career in computer software sales and marketing. After a dozen years of long hours and travel away from her wonderful husband and two beautiful children, Soraya decided to leave the corporate world and become a teacher at her children’s school. During this time she started creating jewelry that she would sell to family, friends and at the local craft fairs in Palm Beach, Florida. Realizing she had a knack for designing stylish and beautiful jewelry, at age 50, she decided to pursue her passion and created La Costa Organic Jewelry, as you have come to know it today.
Soraya designs each piece to be functional and timeless. She partners with master fine jewelers with generations of skill and knowledge to create handmade works of art. La Costa pieces are brilliant, lustrous and truly one-of-a-kind, where no two pieces are exactly alike. Each gemstone is natural and hand selected for its beauty and character. Each bright and tiny Swarovski TM crystal is hand placed. The precious metals are hand worked and sculpted. The culmination of the many facets of skilled labors of love, results in jewelry that is breath taking and evokes admiration from passersby to renowned jewelers.
